Even tough the corpse they gave me was horribly dissected and the muscles looked all the same plus the fact that I was so nervous that my hands were shaking like hell I did a pretty good job!

Not an A+ or anything but I'm still proud of myself.In 48 hours I only slept 6 which officially turned me into a zombie. I'm just glad I didn't hit a car while driving to school :P

So..the flu is killing people in my country. That sucks, I never thought that kind of stuff could happen to me. Schools, malls, cinemas, theaters and basically EVERYTHING is closed. It is kinda creepy to live in a dead city. Mexico's City is a very populated and busy place and I have lived here for all my life so it is a little...shocking.

I have been inside my house for almost three days and there is nothing to do. The government is trying to cover the truth so we don't know exactly how bad this is...we just know it is REALLY bad I mean it has been declared a "level 4" emergency already. A friend's friend died the other day. What should I tell her? "Don't worry. You'll see him again"? Please...

The only good thing is that none of my friends or family members are sick. Thank you God.

The sad thing is the lots of people are going to die, Mexico is a third world country after all and many do not go to the doctor until it is too late.

I guess we just have to hang in there...

So today was an important day.

Why?

Well today was the day a list was going to be published.
Oh but it was not just an ordinary list. Written in this list were the names of those few students who had been somehow accepted into med school. In order to be accepted you had to be one of the top 100. We were 250 and all of us where good. So yeah... it was tough.

AND GUESS WHOSE NAME WAS ON THE LIST!!!!!!!

*insert sound of dramatic drums here*

MINE! ( it was the longer name in the list....blame my parents for giving me 4 names ¬¬)

Hello. I'm proud to announce to all you people who care ( and also to those who doesn't) that I have been accepted in La Salle Medicine School. Which is incredible because this has been my goal since I was 14 years old.

Oh and I also got my very first car *cheers to me!*

Last week I finally found my self with enough spare time to read a book (Isn't it sad that one of my healthy passions which are few is constantly put on "stand by" because of school chores?).

I read "Enchantment" By Orson Scott Card. The story is basically about Ivan, a russian young man who finds a sleeping princess in a forest and after kissing and waking her up ( not before fighting the creature who was guarding her) gets transported to her world 900 years in the past.

I know this may sound like a cliché fantastic/romantic tale, but I couldn't help falling in love with this book. The personalities of each of the characters are incredibly described and the story itself is very catching. It combines action, romance, comedy ( I laughed a lot), and lots of russian folklore.

In conclusion: GO AND BUY IT!

Ok so vacations are over NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and my last year at high-school begins. I chose Area II (my classroom) since is the one you have to pass in order to get to the medicine school. It is difficult, stressing, and tiring. But not everything is bad, my classmates are really nice (they are mostly my friends) and the teachers are cool. Hope it is a good year ( because it would be my last one).

Definitely one of the longest vacation I´ve had. Two weeks in a different country ( the longest time I´ve been outside my Mexico was only for a week).

First we visited Boston. Beautiful city, I really enjoyed myself, and the clam chowder was SIMPLY DELICIOUS. Anyway, I stayed at my cousin's place in a town called Wayland and it was really nice to see them. I miss them so much!

The we went to CANADA : Niagara,Toronto,Ottawa,Quebec,and Montreal. I liked quebec the most.It is very European and elegant. But I liked the other cities as well; Niagara falls were impressive When I first saw them I thought I was looking at the sea *is shot*. Ottawa was wonderful as well; we went on a tour ( twice ¬_¬) and got the opportunity to appreciate the historical places which totally made my day.

I would upload the pictures but I'm lazy (and do not know how to do it so if anyone is interested in explaining me that would be really nice)

Ya puedo manejar!!!! Err...lo triste es que aun cuando me arreglé salí de la chin#$%a..... pero bueno.

Como el titulo lo dice, el día de hoy me fue otorgada mi constancia.Se supone que ya sé manejar. Y no se porque hablo de una forma tan formal , como si yo fuera así...

Primera clase de manejo. Muy aburrido, me caía del sueño y no pidía recostarme como en la escuela porque me veían fácilmente. El maestor hablaba muy suave y casi ni se le oía... Bueno ya que.

Hoy 18 de Mayo inician oficialmente mis vacaciones.
